Unbaked clay and steel rings

The soil, humble and millenary material, is united with steel and becomes precious in the 5 rings of this collection.

Inspired by the 5 most bright stars the rings are the result of a long artisanal work in which the ancient Dorodango Japanese art wears its most statuesque dress. Selected soils, sands , minerals and shives mixed in a stardust are manipulated accurately with water until they shine constituting a bright body wrapped in steel.

The collaboration with the sculptor Salvatore Rizzello was initated in order to collect in design the simbology of our origins and of our deepest roots.

In the persistence of steel and the resiliency of unbaked clay we find the will to satisfy the research of a connection with one’s own nature. We find in nature the materials and solutions to create and build healthy environments.

With Cassiopea our challenge is to translate all of this in stars to be worn.
